I'm too quick for y'all

I was considering waiting until next week to give another dev-log post, but I am JUST TOO FAST! I've made SIGNIFICANT PROGRESS in this game! I've settled on the title R-Echo-llection, and I have made several assets that are vital in the completion of the project! Let me give you a little update on what I've done:

First up, I said in my Itch.io bio that I would blind you, and I plan on holding you to that, so here:

That, believe it or not, is my phone booth. I wanted a nice glow surrounding it to contrast with the background, but now I'm blind because I can't count... (How was I supposed to know that 140 would be instant blindness??!!)

On  a nicer note (ish-)! I added a wind chime noise for when Echo, the titular guide of this experience, speaks! This was supposed to be a soft, gentle noise. But c'mon, really, it's ME who's making it. There's a typewriter effect, it's nice! Each letter is a wind chime noise! ahhh, so peaceful! BUT... OH YES, THERE'S A BIG BUT... The typewriter speed was a little too fast and I hadn't adjusted the noise so I got a nice, relaxing cacophony of chimes!

Back to the phone booth! I FINALLY locked in and learnt how to use materials in Blender! I thought this day would never come.... I'd like to thank me, and Blender, and materials... Celebrations aside, the booth is looking AMAZING!:

P.S: DO NOT LEAVE THE LIGHT THAT IS CREATED IN A GENERAL BLENDER FILE WHEN YOU EXPORT IT INTO GODOT. Wanna know why? ...:

THATS RIGHT, YOU GUESSED IT, YOU GET BLINDED AGAIN!!! WOOOOO!!! Aren't we all learning so much today!

So, that's all I'll give you here for now!

I have more progress, but I'm going to chuck that up on my Ko-Fi, we gotta have a bit of exclusivity around here, we're mysterious and shady. If you want to see the extra behind-the-scenes, PLEASE go and support my Ko-Fi, I have a cheap membership that gives you a little extra, and it gives ME enough to feed myself (That was a joke, I can feed myself fine for now, don't feel pressured :P)!

If you're heading over to my Ko-Fi, I'll see you there; If you aren't, thanks for reading till the end, it means a lot to me <3

PS: Subscribing to my Ko-fi membership will get you an in-game thank you line, because it really does help, even if small.

If you've felt seen or moved by this project, even a small donation helps keep the lights on while I keep building it. Thank you <3
